Frequently Asked Questions

1 • What period of time does the site license cover?
Each site license is for one school year beginning August 1.

2 • We're not a school. We're a church but we want to get our Sunday School teachers and parents on board with this program. Do we qualify?
Yes, you may obtain a site license for your church but the discount code is designed for people in your church and should not be freely distributed to others.

3 • How do we get our discount code?
When you sign up for a site license you will receive a unique discount code good for the school year.

4 • What promotional materials do you have about Biblical Parenting University?
The best tool is word of mouth. Putting a link in your web site, email blast, or take home papers will send people to the Biblical Parenting University website to get them started. We also have a flier you may download from our site to print out and distribute to parents and teachers.

5 • What if we want to sign up in the middle of a year?
If you sign up mid year your teachers will still have access through July 31 of that year. Your site code expiration date is July 31.

6 • Can I get the discounts even if my school is unwilling to purchase a site license?
No. These discounts are only available to schools and churches.

7 • How do parents take the classes?
Each class is carefully designed to maximize the integration of the principles. Parents log onto the website and take the online courses, complete quizzes and watch the additional material. They have assignments and further reading that they can do as well.

8 • We want to give a discount on tuition to parents who complete courses. Is there a way for us to find out who took the classes?
Yes, because of your unique site license we can track who has attended classes and we can send reports of completion to you.

9 • Do you offer certificates of completion of classes?
Yes, parents and teachers can receive CEU's (Continuing Education Units) for classes taken and a certificate of completion is given at the end of the class. Each class represents a maximum of 12 hours of credit, depending on the amount of work completed.

10 • Do teachers have to pay for the classes?
Teachers receive a free 30 minute summary of the classroom strategies taught in that class. These are practical tools that have been tested in the classroom and work to maximize heart change in kids. Teachers may take the full class if they would like at the discounted rate.
